Compared to all other feminine sports such as football and basketball, volleyball is the only one that has a big difference in women’s vs men’s equipment.
Volleyball, especially beach volleyball, isn’t a very accessible sport for many girls and women because of the equipment and different religious restrictions.

According to The Norwegian women’s beach volleyball team, “Bikini bottoms are too revealing, with the uniform making us feel unnecessarily sexualized and especially uncomfortable when we have our periods”.
